Message from the IWCI President
Posted: July 31, 2017
With the online registrations for this year’s annual seminar now closed, we would encourage anyone that missed this opportunity to come to the conference and register at the door. The educational content will be amazing and case manager, adjuster, and attorney attendees will have the opportunity to earn up to 8 hours of continuing education units. We anticipate having well over 300 attendees this year. I am looking forward to seeing the many of you that continually support the IWCI and to meeting any first timers.
As you can imagine, an undertaking of this magnitude doesn’t just “come together.” Every year, your IWCI board works very hard to put together one of the best worker’s compensation conferences in the country. Every single board member has spent a considerable amount of time outside their “day job” to make sure our membership will have a top notch experience this Thursday and Friday (8/3 & 8/4). Please join me in recognizing our upcoming board officers and thanking your board of directors:
- Greg Hale – President Elect
- Bob Gregori – Vice President
- Norette Mason – Secretary
- Lisa Mohler – Treasurer
- Vernon Poland – Past President
- Abbe Rief
- Jeanna Driver
- Ray Horn
- Greg Beasley
- Steve Koers
- Jen Meyer
I certainly want to thank every board member for everything they have contributed to helping my tenure as president be as successful as it was. These are amazing men and women and true professionals in their dedication to serving the worker’s compensation community. Of course, all of you that make up our WC community are due a big “Thank You!,” as well. Without your input, ideas, and participation, we could not provide the programs you have come to expect.
As I have restated many times, the IWCI's mission is to promote and conduct programs of general education in worker's compensation and related areas, to assist members in improving their skills so that they continue to be an asset to their employer, and to provide financial support for charitable organizations and educational institutions that benefit the area of worker's compensation. If you have any questions about what we do or how to become more active in helping us meet our goals, please feel free to contact any your board members. We will be more than willing to answer any of your questions.
Thank you, all, for your continued support of the Indiana Worker’s Compensation Institute.
