Our History...
The Indiana Worker's
Compensation Institute was co-founded in 1991 by a
small group of people led by Betty Croshaw and
John Shanks.
The first meeting was an all day seminar in
August 1991.
Since that time, the organization has grown
to over 300 members in 4 chapters throughout the
state of Indiana.
IWCI has continued to follow
it's mission by providing regular luncheon
meetings with each of the chapters and an annual
seminar which provides educational opportunities
for all our members.
We have helped to initiate a
non-profit organization called Kids' Chance
which provides educational financial assistance to
children of catastrophically injured or deceased
workers.
In addition, IWCI has provided
scholarship grants to area universities, including
Indiana State University, Ball State University
and University of Indianapolis.
